David Nast Cole began experimenting with textiles in 2017. Initially working with reclaimed canvas, he developed a distinctive appliqué process. What started as embellishing garments inspired by early American motorcycle culture and folk imagery has since evolved into more complex pieces. Cole's art invites viewers on a journey of playful exploration into the majestic realms of the unknown and the known all around us.
